The things that I’m going to miss
I will be leaving Japan tomorrow morning and this is a sad, sad song:
My year is over, my time is done,
my Japanese is still crap but I’ve had a lots of fun.
It is sad to leave, but that is what I must do,
too bad I can’t pack and bring with me the loo!
The thing that I’ll miss most is not food,
neither the weather or Peter’s cranky mood,
If I had to say what is is this thing,
I would say the amazing Japanese water-sprinkling-bum-warming-musical-flushing loo!
Ha ha, how is that for a bit of randomness?! But seriously, I wish I had one of these toilets – they are so amazing! It cleans you and then cleans itself; what more can you ask for?
Other things that I will miss inlcude:
1. Ikue, Fiona and Lily
2. All the other friends that I’ve made
3. 焼肉食べ放題
4. Yuzu juice
5. Great second-hand stores. People in Japan donate even things that have never been worn with original tags still attached! One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
6. コンビ二, open 24/7 and sells anything from alcohol, meals, snacks, drinks, manga, etc. Nothing like the ones we have in Sydney.
7. 100-yen stores
